1.) A link back to the site would be appreciated, but is not necessary - although, there is a 5 point deduction for not having the link up.
2.) I have the option to read as much of your diary as I deem necessary to complete a review. I may read 5, I may read 105. However, I normally read between 15-25.
3.) I review ANY sort of diary, journal, blog, etc ... as long as it is not racist, sexist, pornographic, or a fan site. If you're not sure about your site, go ahead & request. We will let you know.
4.) If your diary is locked, I will review you, but I will automatically deduct 20 points from your review. I don't like the hassle of reviewing a locked diary & see no point in reviewing something that other people cannot read. They will be reviewed more harshly than other diaries.
5.) Leave a note to request a review. If you have livejournal or deadjournal & can't leave a note an email will suffice or you can sign the guestbook. Comments & complaints can be sent by email, also. After you have been reviewed, your request will be deleted.
6.) If the review takes longer than expected - don't comaplin. It will get completed.
7.) This isn't technically a rule, just a bit of information. If you don't like your review - complain, yell, throw things, flame us, whatever. We really don't care. You're the one that asked for the review. No, we're not going to delete your review, put you on a list of "shame" (at least not for that reason), nor will we report you to the blacklist, because that's just dumb. We will ignore you. So, save your pretty little fingers from typing a 6 paragraph email to one of us about how we're "cocksuckers & reviews are stupid". Even though we may suck cocks, (I speak for myself & no one else) I don't particularly take that as an insult & if reviews are stupid, you had the stupidity to request one. Deal with it.
8.) If I feel you were reviewed unfairly & you mention it to me (nicely, mind you), I might alter your review. It mainly depends on if I feel that we reviewed you unfairly. If we make a comment about you as a person & not your diary, don't take it personally. It's our opinion & we won't count off points for it. We're reviewing your diary - not you.
Note: Teen reviews has TWO active reviewers as of now, Mandy and MClaire. . If you would like a specific reviewer; simply mention it in your request. If you do not request a reviewer we will decide who we think would give your diary a better review. If you would like to see what the reviewers are looking for, you might want to read the "reviewers" page. Also, if you would like to become a reviewer - email Mandy. We're running short lately.
