Username & diary title: (7/10) duna-bug723 - It's not really my style. It has numbers, which is always a negative, for me, & although I think they're cute, it reminds me of a Volkswagon Beetle. (People here call them 'doodle bugs.') In this diary ... - Hm. It's lyrics to that old Ataris song. You know, I never liked them, but that was probably their best song. Since it does compliment the layout & isn't totally out there, I'm giving you full marks.

First Impression: (18/20) I like the summer feeling & the colors. It's soothing. Gorgeous image, too.

Layout: (25/50) Unique Designs. I have seen this layout traveling about diaryland several times, so I'm a bit wary on how unique it is. My biggest complaint about this design is the links & the border. The links look ... crooked. And, although it isn't too visible, the background color (on the links) are a different color than the rest of the layout. The border is also a different color than the rest of the layout & seems a bit distracting, because of the brighter shade of blue. The archives page is completely different than the main page ... & I think I like that layout better. It seems more organized & complete. But, you still lose points for not matching.

Content: (45/55) Your diary isn't updated too frequently anymore, which leads you to repeat things, leave things out, or have to explain a lot to express what you're talking about. That's what I gathered in the first 10-12 entries, anyway. It seems more of a daylog type diary, but you do go in depth & let the reader know how you feel about the things that are going on. That was your saving grace, as I had absolutely nothing in common with you, aside from how you felt about a limited number of things. Your grammar & spelling are fine - a few typos here & there, but nothing too sneeze at. Your diary is either written for your friends or purely for your own personal enjoyment ( I'm going with enjoyment, since you tend to write down things that are of significance to you & not others) & although I can't relate to you in a direct way, I can understand you (& find you somewhat interesting) in an abstract sort of way.

Comments: I would suggest a new layout, even if it has to be self-designed or customized. I think this one captures your personality well enough, but it has it's flaws, you know?
