You don't write depressing emotional entries, you don't write day-to-day accounts, you don't write opinions and decisions every day. You mix it up. I personally like the things you write about and the way you express them. You don't try to hard to make things appear a certain way. I hate when people do that. Overall, I really enjoyed reading your diary. I read a nice, hefty chunk of about 50 entries. I figured I wouldn't read that much because of the way the background of the entry box overshadowed a few of the words, but I got interested, so I highlighted the words. [smiles] I didn't pay to much attention to any spelling or grammar errors. I know I should have, but I was more concerned with the writing. Of course, I spotted a few punctuation and spelling mistakes here and there, but nothing worth complaing about.

Layout: [35/40 points] You designed it yourself. Good job! I really like the background. It's a quasi-depressing layout, but with a point to it. I like the way things are organized. I don't like the "Who I Am" section. It looks like it's taking up too much room. I suggest shortening it or taking it away all together. Plus, you could add a bit of spice to your links. Maybe have them in normal font and when scrolled over they turn bold? It just seems sort of plain the way it is. Your entries are kind of difficult to read against the background. I think you should make the entry background white. I know it sounds like I put it down a lot, but I really like the background image. I just had some complications reading a few things.

Personality: You seem like a typical teenager that's growing up and dealing with life. It seems a bit strange that you're doing it at 18-19, because most teens begin around 15-16, but as long as you're growing as a person it doesn't really matter. I liked the change I saw in you from the beginning of your diary to the place I reached. You matured a lot! At first you seemed sort of self-centered, immature, impractical, and jealous. After reading more I kind of pictured you growing out of most of those characteristics. You still have your bouts of depression and mediocre teenage drama, but nothing a fit of rage can't fix.
