Username & diary title: (10/10) Silenthedges - Well, I'm pretty sure it's pronounced - silent the edges - or at least that's what you were going for, but my mind thinks - silent hedges - like silent bushes or whatever. I like it, because ... I don't know. I just do. Is it supposed to be silent hedges? Let me know. Len's Lucid Dream - Odd. I don't like thing slike that though. Give me a morbidly depressing sentence and I'm fine, but "Len's Lucid Dream" just weirds me out.

First Impression: (2/20) Dark depressing and an ugly font, great. I really hate this design.

Layout: (10/40) I don't like this layout. I liked the one you had before with the little skeleton guy stabbed in the heart or what not. This one gives me that gross anime feeling and I loathe anime. It does reek of that horrible, artsy, death feel you're going for, so I give you credit for that. The links look pathetic. For one, they're centered and it gives them an unorganized look.The font used for the links and entries is choppy looking and makes things look messy too. And they're just too big. The image looks okay, but it seems that it should take up the whole left side, instead there's about 1/2 inch space at the top. The "Go to sleep, Len, you're only dreaming..." at the top right is annoying, because of the font and lack of necessity. This design just looks messy and cluttered. Clean it up a bit and it might look presentable. Get rid of those damn boxes that come up when I right-click too. Annoyance.

Content: (25/55) Sigh. This was utterly annoying. Not boring, just annoying. Your earlier entries were a lot better and seemed more heartfelt. The more recent ones just seemed depressing and antagonizing. You weren't really dayloggish, but you did have a few day rants thrown in randomly. After reading about 3 entries I labeled you as depressed, sarcastic, and not as amusing as you think you are. Your writing is fairly good. It's just... I've seen it 1,000 times before from girls and guys, 12-18, trying to find their place in the world. Nothing really stood out to me. Plus I found a few surveys just thrown in there, and that definitely doesn't do anything for your content. You're not a bad writer, you're just not expressing yourself. Well, you may be expressing yourself, but you're expressing what everyone else has already expressed before and until you get out of that "stage", I don't think many people are going to be too impressed with your writing. As for vocabulary, punctuation, and capitalization - you're good. I found very few mistakes. To sum it up, your writing is good, you're current state of mind/personality isn't that intrigueing.

You should be: The star of a male, Daria rip-off show. With your selfishness, tedious, and slightly overused sarcasm, you would be great at this. Just speak in a monotone voice and repeat several times per episode how pathetic your life is and how much you want to die.

Comments: Lighten up. Sure the world's not full of bunnies and rainbows, but who says it has to be crammed with atom bombs and creepy anime characters? Just chill out and stop feeling sorry for yourself.
